Spring ball has begun in Manhattan. Head coach Chris Klieman has already conducted his first press conference, and he had some praise for a handful of players. The first group he identified are K-State transfers that have led the way through their work ethic and hunger.

Another Kansas State standout in the offseason is a newcomer to the Wildcats’ roster. He arrived in terrific shape and is expected to take on a large role and start right away, according to his head coach. Klieman raved about him without being directly asked.
