10 impressive statistics from Kentucky's home win vs. Georgia
Kentucky’s 15-point home win over Georgia wasn’t just another victory for the Wildcats, one of little long-term significance. It was a win filled with broken records and accolades both individually and as a team.

TyTy Washington breaks John Wall’s single-game assist record at Kentucky
Washington finished with a game-high 17 assists, breaking the single-game school record previously set by John Wall (16 vs. Hartford on Dec. 29, 2009). It’s tied for seventh-most in SEC history.
First D1 player with 17 points and 17 assists since Ja Morant
Washington is the first Division I men’s basketball player to finish with at least 17 points and 17 assists in a game since Ja Morant did so back on Jan. 10, 2019. He had 26 points and 18 assists in a win over UT Martin.
Two double-doubles with assists and rebounds for the first time since Ashton Hagans
Washington is also the first Kentucky player since Ashton Hagans (2019-20) to post a double-double with points and assists and points and rebounds in the same season. The UK freshman had 20 points and 12 rebounds vs. Ohio to go with his 17 points and 17 assists tonight.
Hagans had 11 points and 11 assists vs. Fairleigh Dickinson (Dec. 7, 2019) and 11 points and 10 rebounds at Vanderbilt (Feb. 11, 2020).
14-plus assists by two players in a season for the first time in school history
Washington had 17 assists tonight, but Sahvir Wheeler also had 14 assists himself vs. North Florida back on Nov. 26. It’s the first time in school history two players have had at least 14 assists in the same season.
Oscar Tshiebwe is the first UK player with 29 points and 17 rebounds since Jamal Mashburn
Tshiebwe’s 29-point, 17-rebound performance is the first of its kind since Jamal Mashburn totaled 38 points and 19 rebounds vs. Eastern Kentucky back on Dec. 8, 1992.

First Kentucky player with three 20-point, 15-rebound games since Kenny Walker
Oscar Tshiebwe has had at least 20 points and 15 rebounds vs. Mount St. Mary’s (24 and 16), Central Michigan (20 and 16) and vs. Georgia (29 and 17). Kenny Walker did it five times during the 1984-85 season.
First time two UK players post 15 points and 15 rebounds or assists in the same game
Tshiebwe had 29 points and 17 rebounds, while Washington had 17 points and 17 assists. It’s the first time two UK players have had at least 15 points and 15 rebounds or assists in a single game in school history.
90-plus points in five games for the first time since 2017-18
Kentucky has scored at least 90 points against Robert Morris (100-60 W), North Carolina (98-69 W), Western Kentucky (95-60 W), High Point (92-48) and Georgia (92-77). The 2017-18 team had six games of 90-plus points.
It’s also the first time UK has scored at least 80 points in 10 of its first 14 games since 2016-17.
All 12 of Kentucky’s wins this season have been by double figures
Three close losses, 12 double-digit victories for the Wildcats this year. The closest win was a 12-point victory over Southern on Dec. 7.
10 straight wins vs. Georgia at Rupp Arena
The Bulldogs beat the Wildcats in Athens last season, the only win in the series since 2013. Kentucky hasn’t lost at Rupp Arena since March 4, 2009.
