18 ranked teams make up Saturday's loaded college basketball slate
The Battle of the Bluegrass isn’t the only rivalry showdown on the docket for this fine Saturday. We’ve got a few of the best college basketball rivals going head-to-head throughout the day, making up an overall great slate of games.
Of course, the one we’ll all be paying attention to is Kentucky vs. Louisville. This evening inside Rupp Arena, the No. 5 Wildcats host the Cardinals for the first time with Mark Pope and Pat Kelsey serving as head coaches. Of all the rivalry matchups today, this is the one to watch.
But if you’re looking for an excuse to sit in front of the TV all day and watch college hoops, consider this to be it: There are 18 ranked teams in action today, including two games between a pair of ranked squads. Plenty of the games with just one ranked team have must-watch potential. Not every matchup is a rivalry, but quality basketball will be broadcast nearly all day long.
