Taylor County's Quentin Goodin is in Lexington this afternoon on a visit to the University of Kentucky. The sophomore point guard has an offer from Tom Crean and Indiana and hopes to get one from Kentucky soon, although the staff will likely wait to see more of his game before throwing out an offer. Tennessee has also extended a scholarship offer, along with Oklahoma State, West Virginia, Western Kentucky and a few others.
Today he's in town to watch Kentucky practice in the Craft Center; he tweeted out this photo to let #BBN know he has arrived:
Goodin is one of 48 players invited to participate in a USA Basketball Developmental National Team mini-camp next month. He broke onto the national scene last year at the John Lucas event in Louisville.
Get used to hearing his name 'round here.
