The University of Kentucky has released an updated depth chart ahead of this weekend’s Music City Bowl matchup with Iowa in Nashville. With opt-outs, injuries and transfers, there’s been quite a few shake-ups since the regular season finale.

Without Will Levis available, Kentucky lists Destin Wade OR Kaiya Sheron OR Deuce Hogan as the starting quarterback, although Wade will most likely the primary signall-caller.

DeAndre Square is absent from the depth chart. The Super Senior linebacker missed most of the second half of the season with an injury, but returned for the finale against Louisville. Trevin Wallace is starting in his place.

Two mainstays at tight end do not appear to be available for the game. Josh Kattus and Brenden Bates will miss the Music City Bowl. Bates shared that he suffered a torn labrum during the season. One can only assume Josh Kattus broke his hand on this stupid Cardinal bird’s face.

Kiyaunta Goodwin is no longer LT2 after he entered the transfer portal. There are whispers he may take his name out of the portal and return to Kentucky.

Defensive lineman Kahlil Saunders is missing from the depth chart after he did not play in the season finale against Louisville. Andru Phillips will get the start at cornerback in Carrington Valentine‘s absence.

There are a lot of moving parts on the Music City Bowl depth chart. Only three positions — center, Jack and Sam linebacker — did not have at least one change from the Louisville week depth chart. Take a look for yourself and pay extra close attention to the new names from the class of 2022.
