'24 3-star RB Tovani Mizell sets June official visit to Kentucky
Kentucky football’s visitor list for mid-June continues to grow.
Three-star class of 2024 running back Tovani Mizell has locked in an official visit with the Wildcats set for the weekend of June 16-18, he tells KSR. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound ball carrier out of DeMatha Catholic (MD) joins a lengthy list of confirmed visitors that UK will host during that stretch. Mizell is hearing primarily from Kentucky’s running backs coach Jay Boulware along with offensive coordinator Liam Coen. He announced his offer from the Wildcats back on April 19.
According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Mizell is considered the No. 446 rising senior in the country and the No. 37 overall running back. Both Rivals and ESPN have him tabbed as a four-star running back.
After originally committing to Georgia in August 2022, Mizell backed off that decision on March 8, just a few days after he took a Junior Day trip to Oklahoma. Ever since then, the Sooners have been trending as the favorite and have also locked in an official visit with him for the first weekend of June. But there are plenty of suitors after the Fort Lauderdale prospect.

Additionally, Mizell will officially visit North Carolina in between his trips to Oklahoma and Kentucky. He visited the Tar Heels unofficially in late March, just a few days after receiving an offer from the program. Mizell also took unofficial visits to South Florida and Florida during the month of April. His cousin, Aidan Mizell, is a four-star freshman wide receiver with the Gators.
