247Sports Predicts a 6-0 Start for Kentucky Football
Kentucky is going to have a stellar start to the 2021 football season. That is if you ask the folks over at 247Sports.
While we’re all waiting around twiddling our thumbs waiting for football time in the bluegrass, 247Sports took the liberty of predicting each SEC team’s first loss next season, and if it holds true Kentucky could be facing Georgia for a trip to the SEC Championship between the hedges.

Unfortunately, they have the Cats losing to the Bulldogs once again, but starting the season with wins against Florida, LSU, and avenging the loss to Missouri is something we would all sign up for.
Last season Kentucky went 5-6, capped off with a bowl victory over North Carolina State while suffering notable losses to Missouri, Florida, and Georgia.
Let’s dream a little, let’s say, worst-case scenario, Kentucky does drop the game in Georgia to go 6-1 into the bye. Their final five games look like this:
- Oct. 30: at Mississippi State
- Nov. 6: Tennessee
- Nov. 13: at Vanderbilt
- Nov. 20: New Mexico State
- Nov. 27: at Louisville
That’s a 10-win regular season sitting right on the table. Sign me up.
