3 Kentucky Wildcats are in the Under Armour All-American Game
A couple of young Kentucky Wildcats are ringing in the New Year in the Sunshine State. The action started in Jacksonville and is ending in Orlando.
Brian Robinson, Jerod Smith and Jacob Smith signed with the Wildcats just before Christmas. A week later they joined the team for practice ahead of the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl. Once the game ended, the trio made the trip to Orlando to participate in the Under Armour All-American Game.
Robinson (52) and Jerod (0) are lining up on the defensive line for Team Fire. Jacob Smith will watch from the sideline with his arm in a sling after undergoing offseason shoulder surgery. After this trip, all three will be in Lexington to enroll in classes for the spring semester. The all-star game will be played Jan. 3 at 4 pm EST. ESPN is broadcasting the action from Camping World Stadium.

Michigan prepared to offer No. 1 recruit $10.5M over 4 years
The thing about football all-star games, they’re not ideal showcases for defensive linemen. Wide receivers and quarterbacks receive most of the shine.
