3-star DL Alex Foster includes Kentucky among list of finalists
Another nationally-ranked prospect has included the Wildcats among his finalists.
On Saturday, defensive lineman Alex Foster announced on social media that he has trimmed his list of college options down to six. Kentucky cracked the list, as did Mississippi State, Louisville, Baylor, Georgia Tech, and Arkansas. Foster was initially offered by UK’s defensive backs coach Chris Collins in early April.
The 6-foot-5, 250-pound three-star prospect currently has a trio of official visits locked in. He’ll make stops at Baylor (June 9), Georgia Tech (June 16), and Arkansas (June 23) over the next few weeks. Foster told KSR on Sunday that he does not yet have an OV scheduled with UK, but added that one could eventually fall into place. An OV to Mississippi State, which he unofficially visited in April, could also happen in the future.
Suiting up for St. Joseph (MS) High School, Foster told Jacob Polacheck of KSR+ earlier this spring that he was “really excited” to receive an offer from the Wildcats. If Foster does decide to visit UK, it would likely happen in the fall, although that timeline could get bumped up.
“To be honest, I don’t know much yet (about Kentucky),” Foster told KSR+ in April. “I’m going to learn.”

Foster took an unofficial visit to Arkansas in late May, shortly after receiving an offer from the Razorbacks. Louisville also offered him in late May. Kentucky is the only school from his top six that has yet to receive a visit.
According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Foster is considered the No. 860 overall recruit from the class of 2024 and the No. 80 defensive lineman in the country.
