4-star CB Koy Beasley sets announcement date
Koy Beasley is ready to make a college decision. The top-250 prospect will be making that announcement soon.
On Saturday, the Cincinnati (Ohio) LaSalle product announced that he will be committing on June 28.
The cornerback prospect is the No. 239 overall prospect and No. 11 athlete in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. Beasley is a top-10 player in Ohio.
Beasley took an unofficial visit to Kentucky in January, but things appear to have cooled off for the Wildcats with this blue-chip prospect. The defensive back has official visits scheduled with Pittsburgh (June 9), Wisconsin (June 16), and Purdue (June 23). Beasley has made trips east to see Pat Narduzzi’s program three times. USC is also involved in this recruitment.

Koy Beasley will make his decision after his official visits are complete. Kentucky currently has eight scholarship cornerbacks on the 2023 roster and each has multiple years of eligibility remaining. The Wildcats can be selective at cornerback in the 2024 recruiting cycle.
Things appear to be trending away from the Wildcats in Koy Beasley’s recruitment. Some other cornerback options could need to emerge.
