Braylon Mullins is beginning to wind down his recruitment. He has several official visits scheduled for the fall, but first, he cut down his list of options.

On Monday, On3’s Joe Tipton reported that Mullins is down to a Top 10 that consists of Kentucky, Alabama, Duke, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, North Carolina, Purdue, Tennessee, and UConn. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard out of Greenfield-Central (IN) High has seven officials currently scheduled:

  • UConn: August 1st
  • Michigan: September 7th
  • North Carolina: September 14th
  • Indiana: September 20th
  • Alabama: September 28th
  • Tennessee: October 19th
  • Kentucky: October 25th

Mullins is considered the No. 26 overall recruit from the 2025 cycle, per the On3 Industry Ranking. Tipton adds that official visits to Duke and Kansas are in the works.

Kentucky has moved quickly with Mullins over the last couple of months. New head coach Mark Pope has prioritized the sharpshooter, getting him on campus for an unofficial visit in June when he received a scholarship offer from Pope at the top of Rupp Arena.

“When I first got in contact with the coaches I feel like they made me a priority,” Mullins said of UK. “And I feel like I have a good relationship with the coaches even though I’ve only been talking with them for maybe 2-3 weeks. When I got to campus and they showed me around, showing me the legacy, the history of it, it definitely got my eyes right. I liked what I saw.”

Of note, Mullins is AAU teammates with four-star center Malachi Moreno on Indiana Elite in the adidas 3SSB circuit. Moreno is from Georgetown, KY, and will play his senior season at Great Crossing High School. He’s also a major recruiting target for Pope and his staff. The UK coaches made sure to watch them play for Indiana Elite at the adidas 3SSB Championship earlier this month.

The plan for Mullins, according to On3’s Jamie Shaw, is to trim his list down to 3-4 schools and make a commitment sometime between the end of October and the start of November.
