4-Star WR Demitrius Bell Schedules Kentucky Official Visit
A rising star in the recruiting ranks is planning an important trip to the University of Kentucky. Four-star wide receiver Demitrius Bell tells 247’s Steve Wiltfong he will be in Lexington Oct. 8 for an official visit when Kentucky hosts Mississippi State.
Bell is a four-star talent from Nashville, an area Kentucky has recruited hard in recent years. In the latest update to the On300 Bell is No. 201 overall and the No. 30 wide receiver in America. Bell is a part of National Playmakers Academy (NPA), a group in Middle Tennessee that trains the best recruits in the region, like UK commit Shamar Porter.
Demetrius Bell recently returned to the open recruiting market. He committed to Michigan State following an official visit over the summer. Bell had second thoughts prior to the start of the season. Now Georgia, Alabama and others are cranking up the pressure, while Scott Woodward is putting Kentucky in a comfortable position.

The matchup between Kentucky and Mississippi State is shaping up to be a big recruiting weekend for the Wildcats. Four-star cornerback, and Florida commit, Ja’Keem Jackson will also be officially visiting for what will surely be a primetime game at Kroger Field. Bell and Jackson may not be the only high profile visitors either.
The Wildcats used to struggle to recruit talented wide receivers.
