5-star forward Chris Livingston will announce decision Wednesday evening
Is Kentucky on the cusp of yet another major recruiting victory? All signs are pointing to another addition, as 2022 top-ten prospect Chris Livingston has scheduled his commitment date for Wednesday.
Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog was the first to publicly break the news.
Travis Graf of Cats Illustrated is reporting that the decision will take place at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
Livingston, a five-star forward out of Akron, Ohio, was previously set to announce on his birthday, October 15. His trimmed his list down to five options on August 31, with Kentucky, Memphis, Tennessee State, Georgetown and the G League making the final cut. Memphis has since been removed from consideration, leaving four options.
Livingston received a scholarship offer from Kentucky back on May 18 and followed it up with an official visit on June 18.
“Well, geographically I love where it’s at because I have family in Kentucky and they were able to be with me on the visit,” he said of his trip to Lexington, via Sports Illustrated’s Jason Jordan. “Coach (John) Calipari is a great person. You just wouldn’t think he’d be that cool because he’s a legend in basketball, but he’s very easy to talk to and just a guy you want to be around.”

Calipari, Orlando Antigua and Chin Coleman then opened the in-person recruiting period last week by visiting Livingston at his school on Thursday.
There are currently seven Crystal Ball predictions and four FutureCasts, all favoring the Kentucky Wildcats.
Recruiting insider Andrew Slater added that Livingston’s recruitment was “over” on Sept. 9, with Kentucky expected to come out on top.
Livingston is the No. 4 overall prospect and No. 1 ranked small forward in the On3‘s latest player rankings for the class of 2022.
