5-star guard Jaden Bradley cuts list to five, includes Kentucky
Five-star guard Jaden Bradley is still considering the Kentucky Wildcats.
Bradley, a consensus top-25 prospect in the class of 2022, has cut his list down to five final options. The finalists? Alabama, Arizona, Florida State, Gonzaga, and Kentucky.
Jaden Bradley cut the likes of Michigan and North Carolina – who both received official visits this summer – from contention.
Kentucky remains in the running, though buzz with the Wildcats has been minimal-at-best for the better part of 2021. At one point, UK was seen as the heavy favorite to land the five-star guard before momentum picked up with Shaedon Sharpe and Cason Wallace.
Bradley talks to UK “all the time”
Contact remains, though Bradley admitted at the NBPA Top 100 Camp in Orlando in July that Alabama, Arizona, Florida State, and Gonzaga were the four schools recruiting him the hardest.
“I talk to Coach Cal and the assistants all the time through text messages,” Bradley told KSR. “Just telling me to stay in the gym, keep getting better and keeping in contact, building a relationship.”

When asked about a potential visit to Lexington, Bradley told KSR he wasn’t quite sure at that point. He would be open to the possibility, but nothing had been – and is not currently – finalized.
“I’m not sure yet,” Bradley said. “We’ll probably talk about it and get a visit and figure out a date or something.”
The five-star guard took official visits to Alabama, Arizona, Michigan, and North Carolina during the month of June. He also has plans to visit Florida State and Gonzaga in the near future. Behind the scenes, Alabama has emerged as a strong contender to land the top-25 prospect.
Will Kentucky make a late push? It seems unlikely, as John Calipari has put the full-court press on Sharpe and Wallace this summer. But there’s clearly enough mutual interest for the Wildcats to make the final cut.
