5-star guard Rob Dillingham officially signs with Kentucky
Five-star guard Rob Dillingham is officially a Kentucky Wildcat, signing with the program to become the second commitment to do so to open the early signing period.
The 6-foot-2, 165-pound prospect is rated as the No. 8 overall recruit and No. 2 combo guard in the 2023 On3 Consensus. He previously committed to Kentucky back on June 24, one of four pledges in the program’s class, joining four-star guard Reed Sheppard, five-star wing Justin Edwards and five-star center Aaron Bradshaw.
Sheppard was the first to sign on Wednesday, followed by Dillingham, and then Edwards later this evening, as well. Kentucky’s other pledge, Aaron Bradshaw, is also set to sign with the program during the early signing period, which ends one week from today on Nov. 16.

Uncommitted five-star guard DJ Wagner is also on the cusp of announcing his final decision, which is expected to come before the end of the signing period, as well. Kentucky is the overwhelming favorite to land his commitment.
What is Kentucky getting out of the top-10 recruit, who recently made the move to Atlanta, GA to play his final high school season at Overtime Elite? Dillingham is small, thin, struggles at times defensively and isn’t a crazy athlete. In terms of offensive production and entertainment value, though, you won’t find a better guard than the Wildcat signee. He’s a living, breathing highlight real who becomes must-see TV every time he steps on the floor. Whether it be a 3-point jumper with a hand in his face, an ankle-breaking dribble move that leads to a flashy finish at the rim or a mid-range pull-up, Dillingham is a professional bucket-getter. Though erratic at times, he’ll step in and provide immediate offense in Lexington.
Now, the electric guard is officially a Wildcat.
