5-star Kentucky target Aaron Bradshaw locks in commitment date
One of the top remaining dominos from the class of 2023 is about to fall.
On Sunday, five-star center Aaron Bradshaw posted on his Instagram that he will announce his college decision on Nov. 16. The 7-foot-1, 210-pound high school senior out of New Jersey is down to a final seven consisting of Kentucky, Louisville, UCLA, Oklahoma State, Michigan, Maryland, and the NBA’s G League Ignite. Bradshaw is considered the No. 7 overall prospect in the ’23 class according to the On3 Consensus.
“Decisions decisions,” Bradshaw wrote on Instagram.
Kentucky head coach John Calipari made sure to stop in and check on both Bradshaw and his longtime five-star teammate/UK target DJ Wagner over the last couple of weeks once the fall recruiting period opened. A commitment date for Wagner is still unknown.
It wasn’t long ago during the summer that Bradshaw was considered a heavy Kentucky lean. However, a desire from his mother to slow down the recruiting process put a hold on any potential commitment. Kentucky is still in a good position to land Bradshaw of his services, but the likes of Louisville and the G League are still very much in the mix.

Before Bradshaw does make his final call, more campus visits will likely be in order. He told Travis Branham of 247Sports in August that Texas, UCLA, and USC are trying to wiggle their way into contention. Bradshaw has already taken official visits to UK and UL, which he did in June.
Kentucky currently has three class of 2023 commits led by five-star SF Justin Edwards (No. 3 overall), five-star PG Robert Dillingham (No. 8), and four-star CG Reed Sheppard (No. 27).
