5-star SF Mackenzie Mgbako will visit Kentucky for Big Blue Madness
Add another big-name visitor to the list for Big Blue Madness, as five-star small forward Mackenzie Mgbako will be in Lexington for all of the festivities.
According to Travis Branham of 247Sports, the consensus top-five prospect will be at UK starting October 15.
Mgbako is the No. 2 overall prospect in On3’s rankings for 2023, with Rivals and 247Sports both listing the 6-foot-8 forward at No. 3 overall. ESPN also has him listed at No. 5.
The five-star prospect officially earned a scholarship from Kentucky following an in-person visit with John Calipari and Orlando Antigua back on September 13. The 6-foot-8, 185-pound forward also holds offers from Auburn, Duke, Georgetown, LSU, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio State, and UCLA, among others.
