“This visit went very well,” Thomas told Auburn Live about his trip to Auburn. “It was everything I expected it to be and more. I wanted to get on campus and get a feel for everything, the team, the coaches, the atmosphere, the area … everything I could potentially be in. And it was a great experience.”
Thomas has been discussing a possible Kentucky visit since the beginning of the summer. Head coach John Calipari has visited the sharpshooter in person multiple times over recent months, most recently at the end of December when he saw Thomas record a triple-double. Thomas will now repay the favor and make a trip to Lexington in a few weeks.
