A little over two weeks ago, Jaiden Braker announced that he had received a scholarship from Kentucky football. Wildcats’ defensive coordinator Brad White visited Braker at his high school in Georgia and offered him in person.

Fast forward to this week and Braker has now locked in an official visit with Kentucky. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound linebacker out of Snellville (GA) South Gwinnett will be in Lexington the weekend of June 21-23, he tells KSR. Braker will also officially visit South Carolina (May 31), Rutgers (June 7), Utah (June 14), and NC State (June 19). A sixth visit to another school could also be scheduled.

Prior to setting up the OV, Braker told Jacob Polacheck of KSR+ earlier this week that he’s “really interested” in what Kentucky has to offer. The Wildcats will have the final (as currently planned) shot to make a pitch, which is notable as Braker also told Polacheck he would like to make a quick decision.

Braker isn’t currently ranked by the On3 Industry Ranking. The only service that recognizes him in the rankings is 247Sports, which considers him a three-star recruit and a top 60 rising senior in the state of Georgia. That being said, a ratings bump could be on the way. Braker didn’t receive his first Divison I offer until January — after his junior season wrapped up.

Indiana was the first high major to extend an offer on Jan. 23. The likes of Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, and California, along with the five schools he’ll officially visit, have all offered him since then. Braker is a prospect on the rise and one that Kentucky clearly sees potential in. The month of June will be an important one for him.
