Just as we all expected, right? Ohio State, ranked No. 32 in the NET with three losses in five games, comfortably leads Kentucky at halftime. And to take it a step further, it’s Aaron Bradshaw of all people cooking the Cats, leading the Buckeyes with nine points on 4-4 shooting and 1-1 from three.

Andrew Carr leads UK with nine points on 2-4 shooting and 5-6 at the line, followed by Otega Oweh with six points on 6-6 at the line, Jaxson Robinson with five, Amari Williams with four, Koby Brea with three, Lamont Butler with two and Ansley Almonor with one.

Beyond Bradshaw, Bruce Thornton has added eight points, followed by Evan Mahaffey with six, John Mobley Jr. and Sean Stewart with five and Ques Glover with four.

As a team, Kentucky is shooting just 34.8 percent from the field and 18.2 percent from three while Ohio State is converting on 63.0 percent of its shots overall and 28.6 percent from deep. It’s an even split on the glass (13-13) while the Buckeyes are destroying the Wildcats inside with 24 points in the paint compared to just 10.

It’s another slow, sloppy, lethargic, poor-shooting start for Kentucky. That’s become a theme with this group, unfortunately.
