Aaron Bradshaw no longer participating in team activities, Ohio State says
Ohio State sophomore center Aaron Bradshaw, who played college basketball at Kentucky last season, is no longer participating in team activities, according to a press release from the university.
The Columbus Dispatch first reported the news. Here is the full statement from Ohio State on Bradshaw:
“Aaron Bradshaw is not currently participating in team activities. The university is following its established process. Due to federal privacy laws, we cannot share further information at this time.“
Bradshaw will reportedly remain on the team’s official roster page, but he is not expected to be on the Buckeyes’ bench tonight against Campbell.
Bradshaw has appeared in all four games for Ohio State this season as a starter. He’s averaged 7.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks in 23.5 minutes per game but has shot just 37.9 percent from the field overall.

A former five-star high school recruit, Bradshaw started his college career at Kentucky under former head coach John Calipari. After overcoming an injury early in the 2023-24 season, the seven-footer appeared in 26 total games, starting 10 of them. He averaged 4.9 points and 3.3 rebounds in 13.7 minutes per game on 57.6 percent shooting with the Wildcats. He later put his name into the transfer portal in the offseason before landing at Ohio State.
But only a few games into his 2024-25 season, something fishy seems to be going on in Columbus. Kentucky is scheduled to play Ohio State (3-1) on Dec. 21 in New York City.
