Could Aaron Bradshaw be back for Ohio State in time to take on his former school in the CBS Sports Classic? The Kentucky transfer turned Buckeye has returned to team activities in Columbus, head coach Jake Diebler announced.

The former five-star recruit has missed the last four games while being investigated by the school for an alleged “domestic incident,” as reported by The Columbus Dispatch. Ohio State said it could not “share further information at this time” as it was following “federal privacy laws” when announcing Bradshaw was no longer participating in team activities on November 22.

That changed this week with the Rahway, NJ native rejoining the Buckeyes.

“Aaron is back with our team after the university concluded its process,” Diebler announced. “Now, there’s going to be a return-to-play aspect that we’re going to have start evaluating right away and there’s no firm timeline for what that looks like. But he will be back with our team. As far as anything regarding the process, we can’t comment further on the university’s process, but that’s the latest update.”

Bradshaw had been averaging 7.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per contest through the Buckeyes’ first four games of the season. The team has gone 2-2 in the former Wildcat’s absence with wins over Campbell and Rutgers and losses to Pittsburgh and Maryland.

No word on Bradshaw’s availability on Saturday when the Buckeyes take on No. 2 Auburn in Atlanta’s Holiday Hoopsgiving — you might remember Kentucky participating in that event back in 2020-21. From there, Ohio State will take on Valparaiso on Tuesday, Dec. 17 before traveling to New York City to take on Mark Pope’s Wildcats in the CBS Sports Classic.

The Wildcats will take on the Buckeyes inside Madison Square Garden on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 5:30 p.m. ET.
