Aaron Harrison ranked his iconic 3-pointers in the 2014 NCAA Tournament
Aaron Harrison is the newest member of La Familia, the team of Kentucky alums in this year’s The Basketball Tournament. Moments after Harrison was announced on Tuesday, he joined the conversation on Kentucky Sports Radio to preview his return to Rupp Arena later this month. Harrison told KSR the TBT will be his first time teaming up with his twin brother, Andrew Harrison, since they were the starting backcourt in Lexington for two seasons. He is eager to team up with other alums, too, guys like former teammates Willie Cauley-Stein and Tyler Ulis. Ulis will coach La Familia.
Of course, the conversation with Aaron Harrison also included memories from the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons, two of the most memorable years of the John Calipari era. Harrison recalled what it was like when he and Andrew announced their return for their sophomore seasons. Then, we asked him to rank his three iconic 3-pointers in the 2014 NCAA Tournament.
Mr. Clutch ranked them: Michigan first, Wisconsin second, and Louisville third. Still, the feelings from the loss to Wisconsin the following season linger more than his heroics in 2014.
