This matchup will mark just the fourth time in history that Kentucky and Miami (FL) will play each other, and the first instance of the John Calipari era. UK is 3-1 in this series, the most recent win coming all the way back in 2000. The last time these two teams met was in Dec. 2008, which resulted in a win for the Hurricanes.
Additionally, the Kentucky women’s basketball team is also participating in the debut of the ACC/SEC Challenge. The Wildcats are set to take on Boston College in Lexington at Transylvania’s Clive M. Beck Center. That game will tip off at 7:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, Nov. 30, and has been assigned to the SEC Network. This will be the first-ever meeting between UK and Boston College.
