Kentucky is riding a strong wave of recruiting momentum as we’ve entered decision-making mode in the 2026 high school cycle. A top target has locked in a commitment date. Are the Cats going to add another prospect to the class?

West Palm Beach (Fla.) Cardinal Newman linebacker Adam Balogoun-Ali trimmed his list to three schools on Thursday. The high three-star recruit will announce his commitment on July 6. Auburn, Kentucky, and Missouri are finalists.

Kentucky has been recruiting the South Florida native for over a year. The Wildcats again got Adam Balogoun-Ali on campus for an official visit in June and made a push. Now it’s decision time in this all-SEC recruiting battle.

Max Mohring is the only linebacker currently committed to the Cats in the 2026 cycle. Will that change? We will find out soon.
