After picking up an offer from John Calipari earlier this month, Adem Bona wants to make sure he can get the full Kentucky experience this fall.

First reported by Adam Zagoria of ZAGSBLOG earlier this week, Bona, a five-star center from the class of 2022, will reschedule his official visit to Lexington, which was initially planned to begin on Friday. Zagoria also reports that Bona is considering attending Big Blue Madness on Oct. 15.

Travis Graf of Rivals is also hearing that Bona is “targeting” a trip to Big Blue Madness.

Clocking in at 6-foot-10, 225-pounds, Adem Bona is also considering the likes of Kansas, UCLA, Baylor, and Creighton.

“Kentucky, I’ve been in contact with them for a while,” Bona told KSR in July. “I have a great relationship with the coaches, the coaching staff, everyone. Looking back on Kentucky, they have a great history, send players to the pros and teach them winning ways. I’m all about that.”

Bona is ranked by both On3 and 247 Sports as a five-star prospect, although Rivals updated its class of 2022 rankings on Wednesday, where he dropped to No. 33 overall with four-star status.

Kentucky has been trending for Bona since before he even received an offer from UK. There are currently three FutureCast and four Crystal Ball picks in favor of Bona becoming a Wildcat.

Calipari offered Bona after he averaged 8.4 points (66.7% FG), 3.9 rebounds, 1.9 blocks, and 1.3 assists per contest representing Turkey at the 2021 FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup. In two games at the Nike Peach Jam, he averaged 13.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks. He then averaged 7.5 points (70.4% FG), 5.3 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per contest to close out the summer at the NBPA Top 100 Camp in Orlando.

As of right now, Kentucky has just one commitment from the class of 2022, point guard Skyy Clark. However, the staff could be on the cusp of adding to it in the near future.
