Adem Bona will make his commitment Monday morning
2022 five-star center Adem Bona is ready to make his college commitment, with Kentucky and UCLA remaining as finalists.
KSR and On3 broke the news of Bona’s commitment date — Monday, November 1 — this past week. Now, we have an official time.
The five-star senior will make his announcement Monday at 10:30 a.m. ET with NBA insider Shams Charania.
“Monday morning at 10:30 ET, I will be announcing my college commitment decision with (Shams Charania),” he wrote on Instagram.
The choice will come down to UK and UCLA, two schools Bona is “in love with.” At this point in time, the 6-foot-10 center says he has not made a final decision.

“I’ve received a lot of support over the past several months during my recruitment,” said Bona. “At present, I’m down to two schools that I’m in love with and have not made a final decision. Blessed to be in this spot.”
Sources told KSR earlier in the week that UK head coach John Calipari was in to see Bona on Monday, followed by UCLA assistant Rod Palmer on Wednesday.
Bona is rated as the No. 13 overall prospect and No. 3 center in the latest On3 player rankings. He’s ranked No. 9 overall and the No. 1 center in the On3 consensus.
Will Kentucky land its fourth top-20 prospect in the class of 2022? We’ll find out for certain Monday morning.
Come on down.
