Adou Thiero ruled OUT against Illinois State
Kentucky will be lacking some depth against Illinois State.
According to the team, sophomore wing Adou Thiero has been ruled out for tonight’s game with what the program is describing as “general soreness”. He is considered day-to-day.
UK Sports Network radio host Buzz Baker said earlier on Friday that Thiero was dealing with a minor back injury.
Through 10 games, Thiero is averaging 7.6 points and 5.8 rebounds in 23 minutes per game this season for Kentucky. The 6-foot-7 wing started his first eight games of the season before coming off the bench in the previous two.
Kentucky-Illinois State will tip off at 7:00 p.m. EST later tonight on the SEC Network.
