In what was likely his final game at Kroger Field, AJ Rose secured his spot among the top running backs in Kentucky Football history.
With 101 yards on 14 carries, including a touchdown, Rose now has 1,823 yards as a Wildcat, which moved him to No. 10 on Kentucky’s all-time rushing list. This was the second 100-yard game of the season for Rose, and sixth in his career. He also surpassed 2,000 career all-purpose yards.

“It means everything to me,” Rose said of cracking the top 10. “I feel like I had a great career here. I feel like I waited my turn and when my number was called, I contributed and produced. It feels great to be part of the top ten here and have 2,000 yards all-purpose, it just feels great to be a part of those group of guys. Just to finish strong how I did. I give credit to my offensive lineman. They did a great job up front today. They were moving people around all night and it’s just a blessing to get that dub for the last home game.”
Congrats, AJ!
