Nate Oats and the Alabama Crimson Tide cap off a dominant 16-2 record in conference play with an SEC Tournament title after an absolute classic against LSU on Sunday afternoon in Nashville, beating the Tigers 80-79 in a game that came down to the final possession.

After a back and forth affair in the Music City, Alabama takes home their first SEC tournament title since 1991, and it’s well deserved after a historic season that will likely see Alabama fall on the 2 seed line in the NCAA Tournament.

Despite this being one of the best basketball games of the entire season, you could definitely tell these two schools are football schools. First, a little pregame scuffle because it just means more.

Then after LSU squandered their final possession to lose the game, Nate Oats politely told Will Wade and the LSU bench to “get the f*** outta here.”
