Kentucky scored a big transfer portal win with an explosive wide receiver. Kendrick Law is transferring from Alabama to Kentucky, reports Pete Nakos. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

Law received interest from plenty of big-name schools during free agency. He reportedly had visits with Arkansas, Florida State, and South Carolina lined up. Ultimately, he’s rocking Kentucky Blue.

During his three-year career at Alabama, he primarily served as a kick returner, averaging 24.4 yards per return. He lined up in the slot on offense, tallying 33 receptions for 343 yards and one touchdown.

Similar to former Wildcat Barion Brown, Law was a Top 100 talent in the 2022 recruiting class who had eye-opening speed, particularly on the track and field circuit. He posted multiple sub-11-second times in the 100-meter dash, with a 10.48 in the state finals as a junior.

Kentucky needs a slot receiver while its freshmen develop. It appears the new wide receivers coach put in some work. L’Damian Washington is a former wide receiver from Shreveport, the same hometown as Law. There’s a good chance the new guy made a move to get the Cats an explosive playmaker in the slot for the 2025 season.
