All-American Linebacker Daniel Martin to visit Kentucky for LSU game
The Kroger Field guest list for Kentucky’s Saturday night showdown against LSU continues to grow. Four-star linebacker Daniel Martin tells 247 Sports that he will be making the trip up I-75 to watch the Wildcats in action.
Martin is a top 300 prospect in the 2022 class from the Atlanta suburb of Marietta. A 6-foot-2, 195-pound athlete that plays on both sides of the line of scrimmage, Martin is the 24th-ranked linebacker in the country according to the 247 Composite Rankings.

Vanderbilt is currently considered the leader in his recruitment, but he’s still got a way’s to go before committing to a school. Martin plans on announcing his decision at the All-American Bowl in January. He’s taken official visits to Vandy and Florida State. Kentucky offered him a scholarship in May of 2020, but things are just now beginning to take off.
“We’re just building a stronger relationship right now,” Martin told Andrew Ivins.
UK’s coaching staff has compared Martin to Jamin Davis, the Georgia native who has taken in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. It’s easy to understand why after you see him show off his athletic ability and versatility at multiple positions.
