Andrew Carr, Acaden Lewis join new NIL agency, Momentous Sports Partners
A new college basketball agency has entered the NIL space, and two Wildcats — one current and one future — are giving it a shot.
Momentous Sports Partners, founded by Joey Pennavaria and Daniel Hennes, has officially launched with 27 clients already joining the fold. Among them? Kentucky forward Andrew Carr and signee Acaden Lewis.
Other high-profile names on the list include Kansas’ Hunter Dickinson, North Carolina’s R.J. Davis, Baylor’s Jeremy Roach and Auburn’s Johni Broome.
You may see a common theme with the agency’s target clients: they’re not all one-and-done superstars looking for an eight-month pitstop before the NBA.
“We want to be somewhat complementary, but also not even necessarily recruiting the same guys as the top NBA agencies,” Pennavaria told On3. “Those guys are gonna go after the Cooper Flaggs, the guys that are for-sure one-and-dones. Those were the guys we wanted to recruit.

“But there’s so many more athletes now in college basketball that need representation because they’re professionals, as well, and can make really good money – life-changing money. They’re not NBA deals or NBA-sized deals, but there’s so many of these guys that need this help. That’s the white space that we saw.”
The official website says Momentous Sports Partners ‘offer a comprehensive approach to NIL representation, ensuring every player’s potential is maximized on and off the court,’ turning name, image and likeness into ‘tangible opportunities.’ They also specialize in school/collective contract negotiations, personal brand building and business education.
“We spend 100% of our time meeting with, talking to and being put into this college basketball space. … We’re trying to be the market leaders in this space,” Hennes said.
Two popular Wildcats will give the agency a chance with NIL.
