Andrew Carr is a game-time decision vs. Mississippi State

Andrew Carr is a game-time decision tonight against Mississippi State.
Carr was surprisingly listed as “questionable” when the Southeastern Conference released Friday night’s Availability Report. No specific reason was provided, so we’re unsure if his status is due to an illness or an injury. His name was still on the SEC’s Availability Report on Saturday night as a game-time decision, which was updated roughly two hours ahead of tipoff.
Kentucky will certainly need Carr against the Bulldogs tonight. The 6-foot-11 fifth-year forward is averaging 11.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game on 53.3 percent shooting. Tipoff at Humphrey Coliseum in Starkville is set for 8:30 p.m. EST on the SEC Network.

Additionally, Kentucky backup point guard Kerr Kriisa was once again listed as out. The fifth-year floor general hasn’t played since he fractured his foot against Gonzaga on Dec. 7. For Mississippi State, guard Kanye Clary has been declared out for the Bulldogs. He hasn’t played since November 29.
The SEC’s new basketball policy states that players must be listed as “out” (0% chance to play), “doubtful” (25% chance to play), “questionable” (50% chance to play), or “probable” (75% chance to play) in the first report released the night before conference games at 8 PM ET. On the final report released no later than 90 minutes before tipoff, players will be designated as “available,” “game-time decision” or “out” in an effort to provide additional clarity.
