Andrew Carr is available to play vs. Texas A&M
Andrew Carr continues to battle back issues, but he will play vs. Texas A&M. The final SEC Availability Report for tonight’s game vs. the No. 11 Aggies just dropped and Carr is not on it after being listed as probable last night, meaning he’s good to go. Texas A&M star Wade Taylor IV remains out for the third straight game.
On his call-in show last night, Pope said that Carr missed Monday’s practice to rehab in hopes of playing tonight.
“I anticipate that he’s going to be able to play tomorrow, but it’ll be another game-time decision, and we’re going to keep nursing him back the best we can,” Pope said. “He’s a warrior, so it’s hard to keep him off the court, but he’s fighting this right now. We do feel like there’s a good chance he’ll be on an upward swing health-wise, but we are just managing that right now.”
Kerr Kriisa remains out as he recovers from foot surgery in December. Pope had an update on him last night as well, saying that he’s able to take the boot off for brief periods of time.

“Kerr is out of the boot for at least little segments of the day, which he’s excited about,” Pope said. “It’s not full-time, but he’ll kind of begin some rehab here in the next couple of weeks, and then it’s just a matter of seeing how fast and cleanly he can progress. So we still don’t really have a timeframe, but we’re making progress on that.”
Kriisa has the boot off and is getting some shots up at Rupp, another encouraging sign as he works toward his return to the court.
