Andrew Carr leads Kentucky to (sleepy) halftime lead vs. Brown
It hasn’t been the prettiest thing in the world, but it’s a lead — and a comfortable one, at that. Despite yet another slow start, Kentucky found itself cruising to close out the first half, up 39-27 against Brown at the break.
Andrew Carr has been the team’s star to get things rolling, leading the Wildcats with 14 points on 4-7 shooting and 5-6 at the line to go with four rebounds and a steal. Elsewhere, it’s been a balanced scoring effort with seven other players scoring, none over six points. That would be Jaxson Robinson and Amari Williams, who have six apiece, followed by Koby Brea, Travis Perry and Ansley Almonor with three and Otega Oweh and Lamont Butler with two.

Kino Lilly Jr. leads the Ivy League competition with nine while Landon Lewis has added seven.
What’s hurting the Cats most? The rebounding battle, which Brown currently leads 21-10 overall with the Bears pulling down eight offensive boards. Kentucky has, however, forced 14 turnovers while coughing it up just four times.
