Andrew Marsh was one of Kentucky’s highest-ranked recruiting targets in the class of 2025. The Wildcats were able to get the top-100 receiver on campus for an official visit but that was as close as this recruitment got.

On Wednesday, the Fulshear (Texas) Katy Jordan wideout trimmed his list to five schools with an announcement scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 20. Kentucky will not be the pick. Colorado, Michigan, Texas, USC, and Washington make up Marsh’s top-five.

Kentucky wide receivers coach Daikiel Shorts Jr. had a previous relationship with Andrew Marsh from his time spent on Houston’s staff but that was not enough to get Kentucky into the top five. Michigan appears to have much of the momentum heading into the announcement.

The Wildcats did not strikeout at receiver in the Lonestar State. Top-500 commit Ja’Kayden Ferguson has been committed to the Big Blue since June 16. Kentucky currently has three wideouts in the class of 2025 with top-500 recruit Dejerrian Miller still on the board as a uncommitted prospect.
