Another Transfer Portal Offensive Tackle Schedules a Trip to Kentucky
The Kentucky football transfer guest list continues to grow. Most of the players on it are large humans who play in the trenches.
Bowling Green offensive tackle Alex Wollschlaeger tells KSR Plus’ Jacob Polacheck that he will be in Lexington this weekend for an official visit to Kentucky. The Illinois native has one season of eligibility remaining.
Wollschlaeger is a 6-foot-7, 305-pound right tackle who earned All-MAC honors in back-to-back seasons, culminating with a first-team selection following the 2024 campaign. He has 2,341 career snaps under his belt. An exceptional pass-blocker, this fall the team captain had a PFF grade of 76.9. The Falcons finished fourth in the MAC with a 7-5 record.
KSR has confirmed three offensive tackles who will visit in the next week and Wollschlaeger is the first. By our count, there are six transfer portal players expected to visit Kentucky this weekend.

Wollschlaeger has an impressive resume. He’s certainly going to be a coveted target by multiple schools. It’s significant that Kentucky is getting him on campus first to potentially fill a position of need for the Wildcats.
