Kentucky transfer Anthony Brown-Stephens is headed to Tulane
A busy transfer portal season for the Kentucky football program rolls on in January as the start date for the spring semester inches closer. Players are attempting to find new college football homes and teams are attempting to fill rosters for spring practice. Another former receiver has found a new home.
Anthony Brown-Stephens will spend his true junior season playing for former Kentucky linebacker and assistant coach Jon Sumrall at Tulane.
The Springfield (Ohio) High product was a top-500 recruiting win for Kentucky in the 2023 high school cycle who played 363 offensive snaps over two seasons in Lexington. Anthony Brown-Stephens was a rotational players both years on campus.
Kentucky saw wide receviers coaching Daikiel Shorts Jr. (Nebraska) and five scholarship players leave the program this offseason. Anthony Brown-Stephens, Barion Brown (LSU), Hardley Gilmore IV (Nebraska), Dane Key (Nebraska), and Brandon White (Hawaii) have all found new homes.

The program loaded up at the position in the 2025 high school cycle by signing five wideout prospects. Kentucky also added J.J. Hester (Oklahoma) and Kendrick Law (Alabama) to the roster from the transfer portal. Offensive coordinator Bush Hamdan and new wide receivers coach L’Damian Washington are also still recruiting transfer receivers. Kentucky is currently a finalist for former Clemson wideout Troy Stellato.
