Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis recently put his Los Angeles mansion up for sale, according to the LA Times, and it could all be yours for a mere $7.995 million! It comes stocked with a $1 million infinity pool, an indoor basketball court, and more space than one person would ever need. There are five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The place is a damn kingdom. Take a peek. It's not a particularly reasonable chunk of the Internet, but their immediate reactions to this type of news is perfectly on-brand. But to be honest, I can't confidently reason that Kentucky fans wouldn't do the same if, say, John Calipari was putting his home on the market. The Internet is driving us all crazy, now more than ever. Davis originally bought the Westlake Village crib for $7.5 million (a bargain!) roughly two years ago. So why would he move already? He just got to Los Angeles less than a year ago! Does he hate LeBron James? Is Dwight Howard being too much of a Dwight Howard? Maybe! But it's most likely none of those things. While Davis did decline a four-year extension that was offered by the Lakers back in January, he did so with the intention to re-sign for a longer and much larger contract this summer. He'll be eligible for the supermax deal worth over $200 million that spans the course of five seasons. After some quick snooping (Twitter research) I was able to gather that the home above is likely one he didn't have intentions on keeping for very long. Considering Davis upgraded to a $14 million home in Bel-Air not long ago, closer to where LeBron lives, I'd say their relationship is in tip-top shape. The point of all of this is that you force your kids to play basketball at an early age.
