It’s still early in the week, but all we’ve done so far is talk about Antonio Reeves and his budding All-American campaign. So how about we do it some more?

On Tuesday night, just hours after he was named to the Jerry West Award Top 10 List for the nation’s best shooting guard, Reeves made another, even more prestigious list. The Kentucky veteran was included in the Wooden Award Late Season Top 20 Watch List.

Reeves was one of three SEC players named to the Watch List, joining Tennessee’s Dalton Knecht and Auburn’s Johni Broome. All 20 players were selected by a poll of national college basketball experts.

Reeves has been incredibly consistent all season long, averaging 19.5 points and 4.4 rebounds in 30.9 minutes per game. His shooting splits are among the most efficient in all of college basketball at 50.2/43.1/87.3 — career highs in every category. Reeves has hit double-figures in all but one of his 19 games played this season, including 10 outings with at least 20 points.

Kentucky has seen two of its players win the Wooden Award throughout program history. Anthony Davis did it in 2012 and Oscar Tshiebwe again in 2022. Could Reeves end up as the third?
