Arkansas trolls Kentucky with Reed Sheppard picture after loss
It feels like we’re in the upside down right now following Kentucky’s 89-79 loss to Arkansas, a stunning defeat in John Calipari’s return to Rupp Arena. In the frenzied hours before tipoff, Reed Sheppard made waves when he arrived at the Houston Rockets’ home game vs. the Brooklyn Nets game wearing an Arkansas t-shirt and Kentucky shorts.
The fact that Reed was supporting both his former school, Kentucky, and his former coach, John Calipari, isn’t Earth-shattering, but the order of the attire caught some fans off guard. Arkansas’ social media team seized on the moment afterward, tweeting, “Hogs on Top” with the picture, salt in the wound to a fanbase trying to grapple with the surprising loss.
That’s not all. Right after the game, the account tweeted “Tell Me Who’s In The House Tonight,” the 1996 Kentucky team’s tagline that has made a comeback in the Mark Pope era.
