Blue-chip EDGE Asharri Charles locks in official visit with Kentucky

Spring practice for the Kentucky football program begins next week but high school recruiting never stops. The Wildcats are continually adding to the official visitor list in June. A big-time prospect joined that group on Monday.
Venice (Fla.) High EDGE Asharri Charles will make a trip to Lexington this summmer. The class of 2026 recruit is the No. 189 overall prospect in On3’s Industry Ranking.
The four-star recruit received a scholarship offer from Kentucky’s staff on Jan. 29. Just a few weeks later, the Cats got an official visit locked in with Asharri Charles. This blue-chipper also has official visit plans with Missouri (June 6-8), Louisville (June 13-15), and Miami (June 20-22). Kentucky will get a visit during the mid-week. LSU, Miami, Texas A&M, and Ohio State are also scheduled to host Charles for an unofficial visit during spring practice.
