At the Half: Kentucky Leads Bucknell by 16

It wasn’t always pretty, but when it was, woo! Kerr Kriisa had a couple of no-look assists and Amari Williams had a pretty quick dish inside for three of the 10 first-half assists on 19 made field goals as Kentucky took a 47-31 lead over Bucknell.
Those assists were sharp, but the Cats weren’t immune from mistakes. Williams had four of Kentucky’s seven turnovers.
The small moments of sloppiness were surpassed by the Cats’ ability to clean the glass. Mark Pope made offensive rebounding a point of emphasis leading into the Bucknell game and his players listened. Kentucky had six second-chance points off a dozen offensive rebounds.
