Athlete Advantage Rolls Out Blue Carpet for Paul Miller Ford NIL Event
A new era of NIL is here at the University of Kentucky.
Wednesday night a few hundred people gathered at Manchester Music Hall for the “Drive Like a Wildcat” event. Hosted by Athlete Advantage, the night reached a crescendo when Paul Miller Ford debuted a brand new commercial with Will Levis for the new Ford Big Bend Bronco. When the ad hits central Kentucky TV stations, you’ll think you’re watching a Super Bowl ad.
Athlete Advantage did not throw a big party just to watch a Will Levis commercial. The event welcomed members of the community to show how partnerships with student-athletes can benefit businesses of all shapes and sizes. Not only does Paul Miller Ford do business directly with UK, it’s the second straight year they’ve advertised with a Kentucky football player, debuting with Wan’Dale Robinson in 2021.

The guest list was a who’s who of local celebrities with Buzz Baker, Tom Leach and Drew Franklin in the crowd. However, the UK student-athletes, namely Levis, Maddie Scherr and Tayvion Robinson, stole the spotlight.
The world of Name, Image and Likeness is one we’re still getting used to. Wednesday night helped remove some of the early negative NIL stigma surrounding campus, opening the door for more deals for University of Kentucky athletes.
