Bam Adebayo signs with Jordan Brand
Life is good for Bam Adebayo.
Back in November the former Kentucky Wildcat signed a five-year extension with the Eastern Conference champion Miami Heat worth at least $163 million, then used some of his new money to treat Ms. Marilyn to a brand new home.
Now he’s in the headlines for another contract he signed, one with Jordan Brand that will provide him Js for the court and some extra walk-around money he can use on things like furnishing his new home.
Jordan Brand announced the addition of Adebayo to its family on Friday:
“Being able to say that I’m part of the brand makes me sit back and really cherish everything.”
Jordan Brand is pleased to welcome @bam1of1 to the Jumpman Family.

Over on the Jordan Brand site, you can read a lengthy story welcoming Adebayo to Air Jordan and it includes an interview he did about joining the brand. In the interview he of course mentioned his mom right away in one of the first questions about what drives him to succeed.
“My mom,” Adebayo responded. “She’s a single parent and raised me through the struggle. My competitive nature is influenced by how she’s built. She’ll never quit. She is one of those people who has no filter. That’s where it comes from, it’s just in my DNA.”
