Barion Brown scheduled to officially visit Kentucky for Florida game
One of the top wide receivers in America has scheduled an official visit to the University of Kentucky. Sources tell KSR that Barion Brown is expected to use his third official visit this weekend in Lexington when the Wildcats host Florida at Kroger Field.
A five-star prospect, Brown is the No. 14 player in the On300 class of 2022 rankings. Brown attends the Nashville football factory, Pearl-Cohn High School. As you can imagine, anybody that’s anybody in college football is pursuing Brown.
One of Nick Saban’s top targets, he visited officially visited Alabama and TCU this summer. Brown is also considering Ole Miss, Georgia, Michigan and a host of other schools. Brown previously planned to unofficially visit Kentucky’s campus for the Missouri game, but those plans were scrapped at the eleventh hour.
Liam Coen and Scott Woodward have gone all in on the speedster from Nashville. A two-time defending state champion track star, he’s one of the fastest athletes in America. That’s why he’s a priority for Saban and Alabama is considered the frontrunner. It’s a huge win to get him to Kentucky for an official visit. If all goes well this weekend, this recruitment could go down to the wire.

Brown’s Top Performance

Brown recorded 297 yards of total offense and two touchdowns, including a 93-yard score late in the Pearl Cohn 26-21 comeback victory. He lined up at wide receiver, quarterback and running back on offense. It ain’t hard to tell he’s one of the best football players in America.
Other Top Visitors
Brown will be the only player receiving the red carpet, official visit treatment, but there will be plenty of 2022 commitments unofficially visiting. The Wade Twins, Kiyaunta Goodwin and Grant Bingham headline the star-studded group. It’s also a significant weekend in recruiting for the 2023 class.
