BBNBA: Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat lose a Game 6 heartbreaker
Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat seized a commanding 3-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference Finals over the Boston Celtics but subsequently dropped two in a row to make the series 3-2. The Heat had the opportunity to finally close the door on the feisty Celtics on Saturday at home.
After being down most of the game, Miami held a one-point lead with a serendipitous 3.0 seconds left on the clock. Marcus Smart missed a turn-around 3-pointer but the player who inbounded the ball, Derrick White, came out of nowhere to tip in the errant shot just before the buzzer went off to secure the win and force a Game 7.
It will be a clip basketball coaches across the world use for eons showcasing the importance of hustle and not giving up on a play.
Adebayo could be part of the worst kind of NBA history
Celtic fans are already calling this one of the best playoff moments in franchise history, which is not exactly short of big-time moments. However, as exciting as the victory was for Celtics fans, Miami has to feel defeated in more ways than one as they are on the brink of making their own history, just not the kind to brag about.

150 times NBA teams have taken a 3-0 series lead and not a single one has ever coughed it up. The Heat will try to avoid being the first on Monday in Boston in a must-watch Game 7.
Bam Adebayo had a solid stat line with 11 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, a block, and a steal. He also posted a +6 in the +/- column. However, he shot just 4-16 from the field, missing several shots he normally knocks down. The two-time All-Star will have to step up even more if he wants to avoid being part of the most embarrassing choke job in NBA Playoff history.
Tyler Herro has been participating in pre-game workouts but isn’t quite ready for game action after breaking his hand in the first round.
It is going to be an intense Game 7.
