BBNBA: Devin Booker eclipses 15,000 career points in win over Spurs
Tuesday night was a big night for former Cat Devin Booker, not only because of the Phoenix Suns’ win over the San Antonio Spurs, but also because of an incredible milestone that Booker acheived.
He scored 29 points on the night, surpassing 15,000 career points. Booker is the ninth-youngest player in NBA history to reach the 15,000 mark, and his teammate, Kevin Durant, made sure to congratulate him on the feat.
Booker is one of just 22 currently active players with 15,000 career points, and he may surpass players like Jimmy Butler (15,198), Kevin Love (15,358), Klay Thompson (15,760) and Nikola Vucevic (15,830) sooner rather than later. Keldon Johnson had 10 points and seven rebounds in the loss.
