BBNBA: Devin Booker leads Suns to victory over Lakers with double-double
The Phoenix Suns got a much-needed win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night, winning 127-100 in The Valley. They can thank Devin Booker for aiding in the effort.
In 34 minutes of play, Booker put up 26 points on 10-17 (3-7 3PT) shooting as well as 10 assists on the night. That marks the 56th double-double of the former Cats’ NBA career.
With the win, the Suns move to 10-7 on the year and more importantly, they end a five-game losing streak that had gotten them off track to start the season. In a losing effort, Anthony Davis had 25 points, 15 rebounds, five assists and four blocks.
Other BBNBA Notes
- Tyler Herro (18) and Bam Adebayo (16) combined for 34 points in the Miami Heat’s 106-103 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
- Rob Dillingham recorded 12 points, seven assists and five rebounds against the Houston Rockets and Reed Sheppard, who had a rebound and an assist in his nine minutes of action. Julius Randle had 21 points and six rebounds for the Timberwolves.
- Keldon Johnson put up 10 points and five rebounds as the San Antonio Spurs beat the Utah Jazz 128-115 on the road. Johnny Juzang had three points and three rebounds in the loss.
